    As a Customer Quality Engineer in the semiconductor industry, you will be responsible for managing customer quality events, handling customer claims, and providing feedback to drive quality improvement activities. Your role involves reviewing and addressing 8D reports, negotiating customer quality requirements and specifications, implementing outgoing quality control measures, and maintaining strong customer relationships through regular visits and communication. Successful hired candidate will be assigned to work in Taiwan

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Handle customer quality events and address customer claims promptly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction and uphold product quality standards.
    • Lead and participate in quality improvement activities by analyzing root causes, implementing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Review and provide feedback on 8D reports, ensuring thorough investigation, resolution, and preventive measures for quality issues.
    • Maintain open communication channels with customers to understand their quality requirements, specifications, and expectations.
    • Negotiate with customers to align quality standards, specifications, and expectations, ensuring mutual understanding and agreement.
    • Implement outgoing quality control measures to ensure that products meet or exceed customer expectations before shipment.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts through regular communication, visits, and collaboration on quality-related matters.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, to address customer quality issues and drive resolution.
    • Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and quality performance indicators, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to management on customer quality issues, resolutions, and improvement initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree or Master in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
    • Proven experience in customer quality management within the semiconductor industry or a related sector.
    • Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies, including 8D problem-solving, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
    • Strong negotiation skills and ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with customers to address quality requirements and concerns.
    • Experience in outgoing quality control processes and techniques, with a focus on ensuring product conformance and reliability.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as Microsoft Office and quality management systems.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
    • Willingness to travel as needed to visit customers and support quality-related initiatives.
    • Successful hired candidate will be assigned to work in Taiwan
