Job Purpose and Objective:

The Project Planner will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and controlling integrated project schedules for international renewable energy projects. This role requires expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6, strong planning discipline, and the ability to support international clients with structured, high-quality schedule control and reporting.

The position is based in Taichung and works closely with project management, engineering, marine/offshore operations, and international stakeholders. Occasional short-duration business travel may be required to support project meetings, site visits, or client engagements.

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and control fully integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 for renewable energy projects
• Establish baseline schedules and manage progress updates, revisions, and change impacts
• Perform critical path analysis, float analysis, and schedule risk identification
• Track actual progress against plan and produce accurate forecasts and recovery schedules
• Prepare weekly and monthly planning and progress reports, including look-ahead schedules and variance analysis
• Interface closely with project managers, engineering teams, offshore/marine operations, logistics, and subcontractors
• Support international client reporting requirements with clear, structured, and professional deliverables
• Identify schedule risks, constraints, and interface issues, and propose mitigation measures
• Maintain schedule governance, data integrity, coding structures, and version control
• Support tendering, pre-project planning, and bid schedules where required

Qualifications:

• 8–12 years of experience as a Project Planner / Scheduler in renewable energy, offshore wind, marine, or EPC projects
• Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory)
• Proficient in Microsoft Project for schedule development and reporting
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), particularly for progress tracking, reporting, and management presentations
• Proven experience managing complex, multi-discipline and multi-interface project schedules
• Prior experience with a subsea cable or cable installation contractor is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle planning, from tender through execution and close-out
• Experience preparing planning and progress reports for international clients
• Solid knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM), schedule recovery, and change management
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced project environment
• Good written and spoken English (essential for international client interface)
• Willingness to undertake occasional short-duration business travel as required by project needs
• Experience in offshore wind or renewable energy projects is a strong advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline
• Equivalent industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications
