    Our client is a global clinical stage oncology company headquartered in Taiwan.

    Responsibility:

    • The Medical Director guides and formulates a strategy for the purposeful utilization of data and analytics. This strategy is aimed at identifying innovative clinical program opportunities and ensuring their effective implementation. The role involves offering clinical solutions to enhance access, along with taking responsibility for strategic planning, operational management, dynamic leadership, and fiscal accountability.
    • The incumbent in this position oversees clinical programs, encompassing aspects such as administration, dosage, implementation, integration, evaluation, and continual improvement. The primary focus is on providing clinical direction and support to operational teams involved in care coordination, disease management, clinical process re-design, and potential future programs.
    • Active involvement in monitoring and facilitating the implementation of a quality, cost-effective clinical program is a crucial aspect of the role. Additionally, the Medical Director supports the company's initiatives by contributing to the development and communication of physician practice profiles.
    • Building and sustaining essential collaborative relationships with providers and the community is a key responsibility. The goal is to ensure that all activities and processes align with patient care, minimize unnecessary barriers, and optimize physician engagement.
    • Participation in the development of strategic plans to address concerns and opportunities related to quality and healthcare cost management is another significant duty. Keeping a record of progress and effective communication of the same are integral aspects of the role.
    • Given the multifaceted responsibilities, some management experience is essential for individuals in this role, as they are tasked with overseeing reports and managing the associated responsibilities.
    Requirement:
    • M.D. or M.D. Ph.D. with a strong background on Oncology.
    • Five years of clinical practice experience.
    • At least five years experience in a managed care setting that includes responsibility for integrated care management.
    • Requires detailed knowledge of oncology and care management principles and serves as a resource or educator to other practitioners.
    • Ability to determine appropriate courses of action in complex situations that may not be addressed by existing policies, procedures or protocols.
