    Job Description

    PCBY PSO Group description
    • PSO (product support organization) is a team of specialists who provide technical support to field engineers.
    • The team is the primary interface between technical field expert (L2) and engineering (L4)
    • PCBY PSO is part of KLA GSS (global service) and supports various products in the PCB (printed circuit board) industry.
    • VRS is the Verification tool in the PCB manufacturing quality process


    Roles & responsibilities
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues where regional TSE has been unable to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment.
    • Communicate effectively with field engineers across the globe and coordinate with the engineering teams at HQ (SW, Algo, Mech etc.) to ensure optimal product performance and customer satisfaction.
    • Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
    • Involvement in Plan of Action (POAs) or if the depth of technical understanding requires, consult with other engineering teams, host meetings of multiple teams to discuss the technical issues in detail and determine the best course of action.
    • Must be able to clearly document troubleshooting processes and technical findings in order to provide service and postmortem reports.

    Additional responsibilities may include :
    • Be capable of supporting worldwide dispatch, work independent in overall capability to support escalations, diagnose, and solve the problem.
    • Submit daily passdown/reports which corresponds symptoms with data/information for remaining issues in escalation.
    • Join service alert meeting to discuss next action plan with regional TSE/engineering team.
    • Assist engineering projects and marketing needs to support company business growth.
    • Make service and postmortem reports. Develop troubleshooting, training procedures and best-known methods (BKMs).
    • Reporting design, reliability, and maintenance problems to the appropriate engineering team


    Minimum Qualifications
    • BSc in Electronics/Mechanics/Physics / SW or Material engineering
    • 2-4 years of experience in engineering applications - Advantage
    • Willing to travel for on-site support per need (escalation/ramp up)
    • Experience application oriented CSE engineer
    • Experience with Shell script programming (optional)
    • Experience with SQL programming (optional)
    • Experience with Windows & Linux
    • Good communication skills and result & problem solving oriented working style
    • Good English (Talking, Reading, writing)
    • Ability to work well under pressure
    • Good PCB customers' production process understanding - Advantage
